Batman (William), Batgirl (Sophia), Spiderman (Aaron), Red PowerRanger (Jacob)
We were thrilled to bring our three year old nephew, Jacob, home with us from IL for the weekend after Christmas. He quickly acclimated to "his" room and our routines here at home. Our house was louder and busier with an extra little boy around, but we enjoyed every minute with him. He seems to have a non-stop smile, even when running thru the room in the midst of a serious game of superheroes, he still stopped to flash us his smile. He did miss his mommy and daddy sometimes, particularly at night (and very early morning...), and we did here more times than we can count "That's not how my daddy does it". Jacob is pretty attached to his Uncle David, so David was able to fill the role for the most part to Jacob's satisfaction. After he got home, his mommy told me that he really thinks that our guest room is indeed HIS room, saying "Wasn't it nice of David and Casey to give me a room for Christmas?". Jacob, it's your room any time you want to use it!
Little Jeffrey is still too young for us to keep him overnight, but he did visit with us a bit when they came to pick Jacob up. We enjoyed some rare moments of playtime with him when he wasn't actually attached to one of his parents. His brown eyes get me every time!

We look forward to many years of entertaining cousins in our home!
